Program on Science, Technology and Society at Harvard

STePS Public Policy PhD Track

In 2017, the Harvard Kennedy School approved the creation of a special field in Science, Technology and Policy Studies (STePS) for students enrolled in its PhD program in Public Policy (PPOL). STePS has since become a track within the Public Policy PhD program. This special field draws on the strengths of Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard University faculty in Science and Technology and Society to provide doctoral-level research and training on issues of policy and governance raised by the increasing centrality of science and technology in society.

Interested students should learn more and apply to the PPOL program on the STePS track through the Harvard Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, with an annual deadline of December 1 (unless otherwise noted).
