[news]The STS Program deeply regrets the passing of James J. McCarthy, Alexander Agassiz Professor of Biological Oceanography, on December 11, 2019. Jim was a devoted friend and supporter of the Program from its inception in 2002. Tributes to Jim, testifying to his impact at and far beyond Harvard, can be found here.
